I've been unable to "time" dropping an object (chandelier) on a foe without a lot of forced positioning of PCs to draw foes into just the right spot at the end of their movement - and then rotate through PC initiatives to a dedicated spellcaster able to take the shot with sparkle. This never feels like a better option than just attacking the foe.
Two suggestions to improve the chances of making this kind of "cool moment" less rare...
1. Allow any PC to trigger dropping the object with any ranged attack.
2. Consider implementing a Readied Action option to trigger a targeted drop (to take the timing aspect out of it as a foe moves through the drop space)
