Doomsblade Question

When you hit with this does it hurt you too?  Also, it does not show any detrimental condition on the enemy hit i.e. no necrotic dmg happening each turn.

Thanks!

The Doomsblade weapons do not harm the wielder.  As for the extra damage, if I remember correctly, once hit, the creature needs to make a saving throw to avoid taking the extra damage.  If they fail, the extra damage is applied as stated in the weapon description.

This is correct. There is a Con DC I believe and if the target fails, they will take 1d6 necrotic damage every turn for 3 or 4 turns. I believe the DC is 12 or 13, so it won't be very effective against stronger enemies.

Typos happen. More so on the phone.
