This is a pretty simple question: As a Greenmage, can I cast Hunters Mark, and then Magic Missile and get 3d6 extra damage for Hunters Mark due to Magic Missile technically hitting 3 separate times?

Indeed. So Magic Missile count as 0 attacks for Hunter's Mark.
Typos happen. More so on the phone.
Fun fact: It used to work due to a bug, and that was absolutely broken.
Green mage is pretty fun. I am currently using a high elf green mage... longbow + entangle shots are pretty nice right now. They set up advantage for the rogue archer at range.Also, Goodberries are great for not needing to use rations. He is the utility mage with haste, fly, slow, counterspell, jump, spider climb, etc. plus magic missile and scorching ray for occasional magic damage. Lots of great options and still can do damage when out of spells.
