Dim Light

Is there a way to restore this in the rules customization back to the actual 5e rules? The homebrew implementation of dim light causing disadvantage to attack rules is absolutely brutal, and has quite an impact on balance, is there a way to override this? It is making the play experience extremely tedious.

Yeah just don't play humans or halflings. All the other races can see fine in the dark.

If you really want a lighty then buy a ring of darkvision from  a shop or find one.

I think there's an entry in the difficulty settings for the lighting rules, can't remember the options just now...

That's a terrible fix for an easily correctable issue.

Yeah it feels like a huge nerf. Even worse than half elves not being able to grow beards.

TA rolled back the darkvision rules to the 5th ed ones in the spring beta patch.
I'm not sure if the higher difficulties or a setting turns it back on however (or if they have crept in as a bug).

Yeah I have been wondering myself, I do not experience the "Dim Light" issue in my games, but then again the only difficulty setting I have turned up is the enhanced AI.
