Darkness Spell Issues

Daylight should overpower darkness and cancel it out. I haven't had the chance to test this in game.

not magical darkness, no.

Dispel Magic maybe, but that probably would not work against an innate ability to create darkness.

My Observation

As per the SRD

If any of this spell's area overlaps with an area of darkness created by a spell of 3rd level or lower, the spell that created the darkness is dispelled. Any innate ability should be no different than a spell unless somehow it is cast higher than 3rd level and the darkness created by Aksha should be dispelled by the 3rd level cleric spell Daylight.

Daylight cast and overlapping with Aksha's darkness did nothing for me in the game so to me this is bugged.

It works for me, but it completely negates the darkness, I end the round with my cleric, and my mage should be next, however ... the game seems to somehow internally crash ... the round isn't passed on to the next character.

An innate spellcasting ability still results in a spell having been cast, but the verbal, somatic, component requirements may be removed.  I could see where innate abilities can't be countered because the casting may not be perceived, but the resulting effect of Darkness is equivalent to a 2nd level spell and therefore should be negated by Daylight.  The Daylight spell itself (in game) even says it Removes Darkness, so I also think this is bugged.

I'm not laughing AT you, I'm laughing WITH you. You're just not laughing.
