I am fighting Razan. I cast the daylight spell multiple times, both before and after he cast darkness. However, his darkness still takes effect overtop of daylight. Because daylight is a higher level spell, it should get rid of the daylight. I also cast dispel magic on the darkness, which did nothing, despite dispel magic being of higher level.
Separate from the bug, this has killed my ironman run, which is very disappointing.
We saw this in the fight against Ashka as well. Cleric cast Daylight. Next round, Askha cast Darkness and dispelled Daylight (which should have not happened since Daylight is 3rd level and Darkness is 2nd level). The Darkness spell specifically makes reference to the level of magical light it can dispel.

Yep. Agreed (many spells fail to break Ashka's darkness effect), and it was a tough one.
Trick : bust the windows open. There are a few ways, but I do not want to spoil it.
