Damage breakdown

It'd be useful to know why you're doing as much damage as you're doing. Right now if you do 6 damage, you just know you did 6 damage and what kind of damage it is (piercing, blunt, radiant, etc). For purposes of figuring out what gear to wear and whether it makes sense to have a certain loadout for a character it'd be useful to know why they're doing the damage they're doing. I don't think it necessarily needs to be detailed by default but maybe highlighting the damage done could give a breakdown of why you did 6 damage (2+1+3).

If you watch your dice rolls you can see the roll and the modifier before they are added together. Also the damage you do and the modifier used is located under your ability scores in the inventory.

Not always. For example, you don't see dice rolls for Cure Wounds' heal when it's cased from a scroll. Might be a bug of its own, but that's another reason to have it - easier to catch bugs, especially since the game is in Early Access.

Being able to mouse over the combat log and get a pop-up note of how things were calculated would be great. That was something the old ToEE video game did really well. You could check the log and see exactly what was rolled and why.

More recent games like Pathfinder: Kingmaker also have this feature. I really miss it in this game.
