Custom Campaigns and Games

I'm wondering what happens at the end of a custom campaign/dungeon.  I can't seem to find the answer anywhere.  Is there a central hub your characters go to load up a new dungeon?  Do they just go back to the characters menu and have their levels and gear transfer?  Or does it just end and that's it?

Take 2 - Madara, as a moderator, I will ask you again. Why is there a link to promote an irrelevant software in your comment.  The game Solasta has tons of difficulty settings: answer something truthful, that does not sound written by an "AI', or I will consider your comment disguised spam. It is spam. We've had a few strange interlopers recently :)

In case no-one has replied elsewhere: At the end of a custom adventure you get a stats screen where you can export the character so their progress is saved.

then your group walk off into the void until they are summoned again.

actually, it would be fun if there was a party select screen that was a hall of heroes or a tavern setting where you walked around and "met" the characters and hired them for the adventure ahead (and, while I'm at it, custom campaigns and scenarios could have a difficulty scale determined by the power of the group and that power is represented by the total hiring cost of the group with adventurers costing more as they level up / gain items / skills etc)

there ye go, spam free response.
