My party is level 8. We are down to three questions, path for glory, lava fields and volcano. Just as we travel into the volcano on the map, we go into the loading screen and crash. I did a restart, updated GeForce drivers and tried changing from exclusive fullscreen (2560x1440) to windowed (1920x1080) and am still crashing every time. Got 130 hours in the game, 60+ in the game since launch, first time I have had any repeated ctds. maybe had one or two fluke CTD in early access, but none since launch. Anyone got any ideas?

Unfortunately, that's the kind of issue that is really hard to replicate on our end.
You could try to fully reinstall the game, see if it helps. Sometimes, mods can also cause issues, so I recommend trying to launch your save without mods (if you can).

I don't know if this makes me a noob, but I am not running any mods! I have run plenty on some other games, but non yet on this one. How do I sent save files?
I only see insert link, video, image, hor. line, no "insert file."

Also, I forgot to ask: do you have this same crash when you travel to another location, or does it happen only when you go to the volcano?
I had played for 130 hours with no crash to desktop (as I said, maybe one or two months and months ago in early access, I cannot say for sure). However, for the first time and repeatedly, the crash to desktop was happening upon entering the volcano. I did a restart. I changed video settings, etc. I did not try going back to an older save. It was always loading from a save in the process of travel from the tower (where the dragon was, Andraesti? the one attached to Kythelea whatever her name is).
However, after I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, the save game worked and I was able to open up in the Volcano map. Thanks for the help!
