I've had it happen twice now and second time appeared to just waste the recipe. First time I had it on one of my characters and transfered it into the inventory of another character and the item itself turned from a Crafting Scroll of Jump to a Crafting Scroll of Mage Armor.
Second time I used it directly from the character and although it said it was a crafting scroll of Jump when used it once again just gave me the recipe for mage armor even though you can clearly see at the top it's referencing Jump.
I have also had the same issue. Initially I read the scroll with one of my non wizard party members, then read it with my wizard. Both times it read as a crafting mage armor.
Has now happened to me 3 times. All the jump one turning into mage armor. Which sucks because I really needed jump.
