Crafting potions of cure wounds

I have the necessary ingredients, my character has the cure wounds spell memorized, has the formula recorded, and he has proficiency in herbalism kit and has one on hand. I have all the check boxes marked except Arcana and required spell - Cure Wounds. The Arcana box has a gray X, which I assume means that the skill is one of the possible skills that can be used to craft the item. The required spell - Cure Wounds box has a red X, which indicates to me he doesn't have the spell available. He has it both memorized and has available slots. Can't tell if I'm doing something wrong or if this is a bug. I set up crafting a scroll with another character no problem.
