Cone of Cold freezing the game

Hi,

Lvl 9 Half-Elf Academic Mana Artist Sorceress. Game version 1.2.9, with the DLC installed.

When I use the Cone of Cold spell, the game freezes, and the UI becames invisible (but I can still read its descriptions if I hover the mouse over the place where the UI should be). This forces me to load the save or exit the game.

It happened once in the Cradle of Fire, I don't remember the exact name of the room, but it was the room where there is a battle against a female flying ghost and some skeletons (I think it was the Necropolis but I'm really not sure, sorry).

Now it happened again in Caer Cyflen, Temple of Lost Gods quest, first battle against the Zealots.
