Client out of sync in cooperative

Sometimes the host and client become out of sync. My friend will see one thing happen, like I kill an enemy but they still see it as alive. when this happens, their game will still wait for that dead enemy to do their turn, which never happens because they are dead, this requires me to quick save then reload for the state to resync.

There will also be times when my friend will kill an enemy, but I still see it as alive and it still can attack me and do damage. In one instance, right before the Lizzaria dialog, I saw my friend kill the last enemy so I proceeded on to the cut scene, but on their side they missed and were still in the previous fight, waiting for me to take my turn, but by this point I've already failed the dialog with Lizzaria (because I selected my +9 persuasion character but it decided to use my fighter instead), and I was in a completely different fight.

I was really enjoying the game until this point, but this is made a 10 minute fight take 40 minutes from all of the reloading.

That's been happening quite a bit in my game with my friend as well.  The fight will be fine for a while, then suddenly I'm not seeing what he is, or worse the fight just stops, so he's taken to saving every time it's his turn incase we have to reload the fight.  It's making the game very not fun to play.  Strangely the game seemed to work fine for the first few levels, but then something started causing us to desync again.

Yeah, I found another thread about it. Somebody suggested wearing items or using spells that give ability check bonuses might be the cause, but i haven't tried it out yet.

This just occurred to my coop party tonight... so frustrating that we almost killed Aksha but then the game de-syncs and there's no way to bypass this bug without re-loading a save.
