Channel Divinity does not last more than 1 round

I have a Devotion Paladin in my party, and even though the description reads that his Channel Divinity lasts for a minute (granting +Cha mod to attack rolls, etc), it only lasts for a single round.

Also, the power is supposed to light the paladin's weapon up like the light spell, but it does not.
