I live in Germany and my default region setting is always "russia" and not "europe".
I don't know if there are similar ip address ranges here?

Also when I create a multiplayer host game my region is set to "russia".
How can I change my default region?
Can I edit an ini file or something else?

We have a player in our regular group that has his default region set to Russia as well.  We are all in Austin, TX.  So, I highly doubt that it is Photon automatically selecting the lowest-ping server.  There is something else afoot here.

Note, all he does is manually change the region to find the game, but still.  The fact that his default is Russia and not able to change the default is strange.
