I'm just getting to the EARLY ACCESS DISCLAIMER screen and I can't CLICK the proceed button. My mouse works. it moves around. Just won't register a click.
Earlier it had just thrown the Windows wait icon. Now its a mouse pointer, but still won't click.
I uninstalled it all and downloaded / installed... still no go. The music plays, but can't advance past the disclaimer screen.
If someone can just point me to the file / setting so I can manually put in the 1 that it wants so it doesn't prompt me anymore I'll gladly do it.
It even responds to ALT-ENTER switching from full screen to windowed mode... so its getting keypresses.
I have tried turning off Virus Scanning and any third party startup applications. Still doesn't work.
I checked the firewall settings and see that Solastra made two inbound rules, but no outbound rules.
I still get the spinning blue wait icon for a few minutes and then its just the mouse pointer icon. ALT-ENTER does activate windows mode, I just can't clear the PROCEED option.
I don't have anything else (Steam or otherwise) that is acting like this.
Just in case there is confusion as to which screen I'm talking about.
Resolved. COMODO Firewall was doing a mirroring thing with my AppData directory and so new content was written to the mirror in the \VTROOT directory and never mirrored to the AppData\locallow where Solasta was looking for the data!
Stupid COMODO program. I didn't need it anyway and reverted back to my previous Firewall/Antivirus and everything is working perfectly now.
