Can't short rest because two characters down in different rooms.

My healer is out of spell slots, two characters are down; but one is in a different room than the other. Solasta isn't letting me short rest until I gather my characters together; but I can't because two are not moving!

A little help here?

The character that is elsewhere cannot rejoin the party ?

There may be an Action to help a fallen party member (not sure), but otherwise Cure scrolls and potions.
