Caer Lem questline, Escape from the Caves step, does not complete and therefore my game is completely blocked.
After I leave the Sorak cave with Robar etc, I have a cut scene saying farewell to them and then the game moves to the map screen. The quest step remains incomplete and reloading to earlier saves and completing the caves again gives the same issue. I'm hence stuck and cannot progress my game at all.
Did you go back to the Inn and report the attack?
I tried but there's no interaction possible. The game doesn't register the fact I completed the step of leaving the caves.

This happened to me also... I it is iritating. I have the seme problem. Once scene finished there is nothing I can do to move forward. In walkthrough there should be Carren in the tavern, but there is nobody to interact with.
I tried previous loads, looking everywhere... still nothing help. Then I realized that at the end of the scene (after leaving Caves) it showed me two objectives:
1. New Objective, Conway the Scavvenders Me... Report to Annie.
2. Objective Failed, Convay the Scavendert Me..., Speak to Captain Henrik.
First is clear and I can do after, but second seems to be the problem. Obvioustly I did not talk to Captain Hendrik, but I could not... he is dead I guess.... I cannot go to tower, I cannot interact with him any more.

Huh, that's weird. I wonder if it depends on who you talk to and who survives? In my game, Robar was killed in the ambush.
It's funny how many bugs (some game-breaking) the winter patch seems to have introduced, to earlier content that was working fine in the previous EA.
Anyone have any idea what's triggering bugs like this, and the ladder one in the ruined tower? Clearly they aren't happening to everyone. What could the difference plausibly be between playthroughs that encounter these bugs and playthroughs that don't?

I am not sure what is name of the guy but Lady and guy who loks like a spy survived. So I guess it was Robar who died...
It is so annoying... 1 hour of playing and then this stupid think...
