After rescuing the real Baron (in Copperan, the dwarf township) from the fake one, and defeating the Soraks that came to help the fake, I cannot find a way out of the prison. Is this a glitch or was there something else I must do before the game will let me leave? I would appreciate spoilers. Thanks.
Maybe you must solve the puzzle, retrieve the heirlooms for Kythaela's chest, and open the door to the gate first?
I was able to free the Baron, then using the lights on the wall, create the symbol to open the wall behind the prison cell, allowing me to get to the chest in the prison cell. Thereafter, I cannot find any way out of the prison. Is there something more I must do, or is this a bug?
That isn't the complete solution, there should be a cinematic when you open the hidden wall. (IE there are two solutions to the lights on the wall).
I saw the cinematic of the wall sliding open to access the chest; is there a different one? Please tell me how, I'm about to uninstall the game as this has already frustrated me to no end, LOL...
I was able to just walk out the same way I came in... The prison is a little maze-like though. Did you try going to the Map and seeing if there was a fast-travel marker?
Failing that, have you held down the left ALT key to see if there is anything that you can interact with that you haven't already interacted with? Gate, a rock, etc.
Third strike is to try talking to every NPC you can see in case you missed a conversation.
Also, you can always scroll the map around until you get to the exit and then just click on the ground and hope the party finds their way there. :)
ralphrepo - Turn off the symbol and make the one that matches the rune on the floor next to the back wall that the lights are projecting onto, not the stone that is near the prison cells. That wall that they are projecting on will open and you'll get into the nice room that has her old spell book.
