camera does not pan at edges of screen

i started the game and went to settings and i only have 3 options in camera, ive checked camera pans at edge of screen but in game it does not work, any help would be appreciated

I've only been able to do it with the keyboard buttons WASD. I have not been able to get the screen to pan with the mouse.

Same for me. Unbelievable, how such basic features are not working. This game is in alpha in my point of view sadly.
