[BUG] LOST VALLEY - Cannot Disarms Traps

Using the same characters made for original release a year ago, can not interact with traps in order to disarm them.

Also, secondary characters recruited to party frequently proc exclamation marks above their heads but there is no way to interact with them or trigger a cut scene. Additionally, they do not seem to level nor can their inventory be altered, which means their death is all but inevitable since they are frequently the first to be targeted in any combat. Is there some way to remove them? If there is, it was not immediately obvious to me.

I am guessing that is a bug because the Druid Spirit Animal also fails to level, it is a bit ridiculous at level 5 having a bear with 8 AC and 20 HP. It is more of a liability than a boon at that point on.

Hi!

I'll answer as best I can the points you brought up!

The issue you are describing with Traps seems to be a bug, but we would need a save file to test it!

If you have one where we can try to interact with a trap, could you send it to us?

You can find where the save files are located (and where to send them) by following this link: [IMPORTANT] Rolling Bug Report... | Forums | Solasta: Crown of the Magister (solasta-game.com)

As for the Companions you can recruit at the beginning of the Lost Valley Campaign are not meant to get stronger with your team. Rather, they are a helping hand for the beginning of the game, hence why they do not have their own inventory nor do they level up with your party.

Can you confirm whether or not the Druid Spirit Animal is supposed to level?

I have not had any problem with traps until I ran into one trap that I couldn't disarm today.  It's a trapped chest in the caves in Verdant Valley.  I couldn't disarm the trap on the chest, it just opened it.  I do have a save if you need it.

I couldn't disarm traps either with my Rogue. Never got the icon to disappear. Let me trap on the floor or on a chest.

Regarding companions, the druid animals are (as far as I know) 1/2 druid's HP + a bit from that spirit. So yes they should gain some HP each level because the druid gains more HP.

I'm pretty sure I was able to disarm traps earlier, but after the one I ran into last night, I can no longer disarm any traps.  I have a couple of saves if you need them.  I also have the option enabled to stop movement on trap detection, but I've noticed they keep moving after detecting a trap.

Alright, thanks!

For the Kindred Spirit, when you summon a Spirit their stats will be based on your Druid. A Kindred Spirit should also be dismissed each time you finish a Long Rest.

There is a known issue though where the Kindred Spirit will not be removed at the end of a Long Rest, which can prevent you from summoning a new one (and thus have a stronger version). We are currently investigating this in order to find what is causing this bug, and hopefully fix it!

I got the same issue: I was able to disarm traps, but at some point, it didn't work anymore, traps were still detected, and shown, but the action cannot be made.

Now, suddenly I can disable traps again.  I don't know when or what I did.  I completed a few quests, so I'm wondering if having some quest active is causing it.

I'm still finding trapped chests that I can't disarm.  There's one in the Underground Facilities in the Dark Laboratory.

I am in Caer Lem and my rogue with a thieves' tool kit in his inventory is unable to make the disarm traps action. I've no idea what to do.

Weird? I could definitely disarm traps when starting this game, now I can find them but my rogue doesn't even try to disarm them, even with a number of thieves tools available (are they consumable items?) Is this problem not remedied yet?
