With the bracers attuned, I'm getting their damage bonus but not their bonus to attack rolls:
the description for the bracers only says you are proficient with bows and get a +2 on damage but i dont find anything about a attack bonus?
also your char already had profiency with bows so it is already there?
my bug with this bracers is that the additional +2 dmg only is shown in combat-log but not in inventory

Well, found the bug: it's in my brain.
Another bug with Bracers of Archery: the damage bonus is doubled on a critical hit. Why the +2 damage is not added to the static modifier is beyond me.
In D&D 5E, only dice are rolled twice on a critical hit. Static modifiers are only added once.

That's why I called it a bug
I've got a half-elf rogue and the bracers work fine but do not confer proficiency with a long bow and the game will not let me equip a longbow. The bracers are attuned. Is this a recent bug I haven't seen this problem in a search of the forums..

I also dont see them in the inventory, but i also dont see them in the combat-log: there is never a row with +2 dmg to be seen
