Belt of Dwarvenkind - let us opt out of the stupid beard

No, seriously. Do not like. Went back to the save from before attuning it, is not worth. Randomly changing character appearance is not a thing I care for, I foolishly assumed it was dumb flavor text. No doubt other people like this and in it’s own dreadful way it‘s a testament to the dev team paying attention to details of an obscure magical item, but for those of us that spend (probably way too much) time picking character creation options for a particular character, a beard randomly showing up 3 long rests after attunement kinda blows. Thanks.

It persists after you un-attune?

I hadn't tested it but made the blind assumption that you may need to attune on and off a couple of times to pass the 'chance' to grow a beard. Haven't tried it though.

Yeah! It persists after you in-attune, hence I just had to go back to a prior save. And it seems to roll every long rest for whether you grow the beard or not. In my case, the beard appeared after 3 long rests. I then did 2 long rests after un-attuning to see if the beard would go away. It did not. At that point, I just went back a few saves and redid a couple of fights and whatnot.

It did not persist for me when I removed it.

I'd report a bug, it goes away after a long rest normally.
