Banishment bug (partially game breaking)

I'm experiencing a bug with banishment. I fought four air elementals in the library ruins. I banished one with my cleric and killed the other three. After the game, the combat now restarts constantly, due to the banished air elemental being considered still active, even if it is not present on the screen. When I end my turn on whoever gets the highest initiative, the combat ends and immediately restarts, meaning I am stuck in a combat sequence loop.

The air elemental should have been entirely banished (dead) as it is extra planar, but even if it was just a temporary banish, this loop still shouldn't happen. I'm stuck in the game now and it really sucks.

Came here to bring this up. Same Place and same situation. I did notice that slowly the rounds are winding down but it is taking so long to end this combat because I keep ending combat and then entering combat again.

Same, you have to wait until the banisher wins first initiative for the round and then break concentration. Banish seems to work ok sometimes, in the earlier parts of the game but is bugged in the later parts.

Just had this happen to me with 2 fire elementals. The rounds did SLOWLY count down, but it was a huge pain

I noticed that only 1 second passes on the game clock between the end of each combat and the start of the next. Each round is supposed to take 6 seconds (10/minute), so to wait out 6 rounds of Banishment, it took 36 combats. It seemed that since the combats ended immediately after the first character's turn, the full round didn't complete and no time actually progressed on the game clock.

Thankfully the elementals did stay banished after I waited it out.

They need to fix it so the combat continues and let you take turns as normal to wait it out
