Aura Stacking

The way I understand you cannot have 2 Auras of Protection - only one will work, right?

From what I know and read on the Internet, 5e oddly has no clear rules on stacking effects or bonuses; except for some particular limitations named here and there or with the logic of the DM (like stacking Shield AC bonuses generally does not make sense).

Which I find is an oversight.

Auras should not stack, unless they are different auras. So Aura of Protection should only take the highest value, but if you have a Devotion and a Tirmar Paladin in the Paladin, their subclass auras should stack, being different effects.

Technically, this should also prevent us from getting multiple "On Fire" effects too.

Typos happen. More so on the phone.

Just to recap for my own sake also, based on the Errata you just shared (good find by the way!):
unless they are exactly the same named ability or trait (Shield AC bonus, Aura of Holy Might, Bless), things stack.
Pretty simple and logical.

( not necessarily how I would design it, but it works )
