Attunement for magic items

This is something that really bugs me about 5e coming from my 3.5e background: attunement for magic items. We win so many neat items in the campaigns only to have to just sell them because only twelve items (3 items x 4 characters) can be used. And no, constantly changing up the attunements is too much of a pain. So my plea to the devs is to give us the OPTION to toggle off attunements in our game. A limit on how many items a character can use will still remain because there are a limited number of item slots available. But for those of who want to, it would be a nice touch to allow the use of magic items freely without attunement.

First of all, you can wear magic items without attuning yourself to it and have part of its bonuses in Solasta; then, TA allows players to equip 3 items from the start, which normally scales with levels. Your remark concerns more the 5th edition but the fact that you play with its rules and limitations is part of the game and of TA's choices. At this level, why not offer the option that weapons always do critical damage with the maximum damage, it will make your life even easier... The choice is part of the game and you have to make it.

Quoi que tu dises, quoi que tu fasses... I speak bad English... so what?

Nobody would be forcing you to use the option, so if it isn't something of interest to you then this thread doesn't apply to you.
