Derp... that sucks. It was there when I posted it. I don't have the screenshot saved anywhere else and I'm well past that area without a nearby save. It's in the first courtyard of Caer Lem where the six brimstone vipers attack. You go past the two crates you have to push out of the way, up the stairs and right before you turn right and there's a trap there... the ledge is up and behind you, on the side of the tower sticking out of the wall, covered in a bunch of greenery.
The same tower sticking out of the cliff sideways that the characters comment on after arriving in Caer Lem.
Yeah, you should be able to walk/jump/etc. up there - it's where you need to go to progress the quest. There are likely crates you need to shove out of the way to continue upwards.
No, not that one. There's a second green box on the side of the grey stone towner that sticks out sideways on the side of the cliff. The one that the party stares at and mentions about it being courtesy of the Badlands.
Has anyone gotten something like this? I was traveling to the magic tower and right before I got to it it gave me this error, not sure if it helps but I have already beaten everything in the magic tower and was just revisiting to see if anything new spawned or to try and collect stuff I had left behind.

I know where you are referring to - it is the edge of the screen behind you when you are facing the door. I had assumed it was not supposed to be there, but now you have pointed out it is on the sideways tower I might go back and see if it is accessible now my characters are higher level. I have been getting the neverending loading screen when I tried to go to the magic tower since the update, so I'll see if this area is the same.
Attempted with Spiderclimb and Misty Step and not able to get to it. The floating green box is clickable, it just has no path. Maybe someone with levitate or fly could also try it? It would be great if it is a hidden area, though I suspect it is not.
FYI: Spiderclimb does allow you to go back into the Caer Lem building, though there is nothing useful there after the first time.

It's impossible to get there with fly spell either but with either misty step or rogue's shadowstep you can (even if arcane circle won't appear). After I got a whole team there the green rectangle disappeared and nothing happened.
