Any way to edit a Location for a campaign that is being played?

Example : my party is playing Dun Cuin (official DM). I edit map 4, but when I enter that location, changes are not there.

Does that mean the entire campaign files are baked inside the saved game?  Or is there a way to refresh the map.

Note the party has not entered the edited location yet.  It is on the previous map near the exit.

WHY : there are plenty of good reasons why a player would do this.  To add a merchant, to fix a bug (like an inaccessible secret door in Caer Falcarn), or a "host" adapts a map for players in a coop play (coop play is another topic, but can be done).

Once you "start" the campaign it is baked. You cannot make changes and see them without testing them in the Dungeon maker or starting a new campaign.

I guess it should be noted that this is different for published items at least in the Steam workshop where a change can be made with the version number of the map updated and it will prompt the user and the new changes will be there.
