Hi, I just recently discovered Solasta and I think it looks great! I have been waiting for a game based off of 5th edition rules for awhile now. I was looking through all the news for this game and noticed that there was a vote between half-elf and half-orc which half-elf won. As a big half-orc fan I was wondering if there were any plans to add the half-orc into the game later on.
We're never closing the door to more content! That being said, we don't have specific plans as of now for post-launch content - we want to focus on making the best game we can for now, we'll think about DLCs later when we get closer to launch.
The only DLC that's planned already is the Sorcerer, because it was a stretch goal that almost got unlocked during Kickstarter (so we decided to give it for free as post-launch DLC anyway, because why not).
That's cool of you to release free DLC, not everyone would have done that. I'm looking forward to the game keep up the good work!

Was super sad half-elf won out, but I can't blame people for not wanting to be just a plain human nor as fully pretentious as an elf, hah!
That being said, I shall campaign for the half-orc on these forums as much as I reasonably can. After all, who else can wield a greataxe with such perfect harmony of rage and ugg ugg?

One of my favourite builds in pathfinder was a half Orc mage! Who needs mage armor when you can face tank a crit and refuse to die?
A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.
Well, if you release a Bard DLC I'll be a happy Half Elf player lol

I really hope for half-orc (and hopefully full orc) dlc, that would develop their lore in the world. Also Relentless Endurance is on opf the best racial abilities imo.
I also raise my greataxe in honor of the Half-Orc Barbarians! Myself and I am sure many others would pay for a Half-Orc DLC since they are a great race and I do think the Barbarian class with its tanky-ness would fit well in this game for a solid front-liner option.

I'm with you brother. My main will almost always be a big mean bastard, wielding the largest weapon I can find, tanking and smashing everything in front of me, while the fancy elves stay in the back.
We need the " brute " race !!!
I'm okay with half- elves but I also voted for half-orcs and agree that they would be great to have in the game. I hoe they'll be added at some point, not having them in the game is a missed opportunity. I'd love to have a badass half-orc paladin of the motherland.

Half orcs are OK I guess, but why have a half orc when you can have a full gnome?
Come on, they are cute and easy on resources - they are not even half a half orc in size!
