Can anyone tell me if there is a clean way to aim at airborne enemies with aoe's and line spells. I was attempting to thread a group of fire elementals with a lightning bolt and it just refused to hit anything off the ground.

If you click the stacked squares in the middle of the compass (bottom right), this will allow you to change vertical layers. I believe you use scroll wheel to do so..? Maybe up/down arrow keys or pgup/down? Idk exactly.
